Tokyo Skytree Turns One

One year ago today, the Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリ) officially opened to the public. Standing 634 meters (2,080 feet), the Skytree is the tallest tower and the second largest structure in the world. The Skytree took four years to build and in the last year alone over 6.3 million people visited the tower—many capturing the experience on Instagram.

This week GAB are looking at the benefits of gaming. We’ve almost drowned ourselves in discussing race and geek girls - and it’s high time we had a nice break to feel warm and fuzzy.

It’s not measured when you’re in good shape. it’s not when you have your hair done right or your makeup perfectly made. Nor is it measured by how many expensive gifts he has rained over you. It’s when you’re at your worst. When you don’t have it all together. When you’re hair is out of place and you’re wearing his t-shirts and he’s making you soup and rubbing vapor rub all over your chest because you couldn’t stop coughing. It’s when he takes every side of you, including your worst. If he accepts you at your worst, then he definitely deserves you at your best. Measure it all then because love isn’t superficial. It’s more than money and gifts.
